- John Beaton Added 2017-08-09★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆Excellent hotel and stay but it was marred by an accounting practice. At check-in they took $100 for incidentals, which they described as a "pre-authorization, just in case," not a charge. We had no incidentals. On return home, we found the charge had been applied against our credit card. On phoning, they said their practice was to take the money, then repay it in 2 to 7 days. That means they use the money as their own cash flow--it's at risk if they have financial difficulties, we could end up paying interest on it, and the onus is on us to check they do repay it.
